Join us for a conversation on palliative care

With chronic kidney disease on the rise throughout the Pacific Northwest, understanding both traditional and alternative treatment options is critical to improving quality of living for Oregonians and Washingtonians living with end stage renal disease (ESRD).

Join the Northwest Kidney Council and our partners for the first quarterly Council Conversation of 2023, focused on the basics of palliative care and trends throughout the field – including public policy options to improve the care of patients.

While much of the ESRD treatment conversation necessarily revolves around lifesaving dialysis, palliative care is emerging as another alternative for patients.

For this Council Conversation, we’ll be joined by Dr. Amaka Eneanya, head of strategy and operations at Fresenius Medical Care’s global medical office, for an in-depth discussion on the importance of palliative care for the kidney community.

Together, we’ll explore the basics of palliative care for kidney patients, common obstacles, public policy solutions, and how patients can advocate for themselves.

This is your opportunity to connect with a leading expert in kidney care – so come prepared with your questions.

See you on the 7th!
